What we offer

University graduates with an interest in policy research find it difficult to receive the training needed to do their job well. Part of the problem is that organisations are not always equipped or have the time to focus on coaching and guiding newly hired staff. A practical option is for these skills to be taught through a formal process of academic training and mentorship. NextGen provides access to support structures, networks and resources that can strengthen the capacity of individuals to develop and achieve their professional goals

Professional Development
& Networks

Fellows will be provided with opportunities to undertake an internship(s) and connect with policy makers in various ways so that they develop insights about how to link research with policy and practice.

Facilities &
Resources

Full bursaries for Masters and PhD students and access to enabling facilities and equipment.
